During our stay at Sesmarias Turismo Rural, we were thrilled with the array of activities available for families. The beautiful surroundings offered opportunities for cycling, fishing, hiking, and bird watching. Our children had a blast exploring nature and discovering new adventures every day.

My wife says that having a playground or outdoor play area would have been a great addition for families with children.

The hotel itself is a jaw-droppingly beautiful place, with special old furniture, lovely artwork, and personal touches. The outdoor pool is impressive, and the rooms are classy with glass walls and stunning views. The staff went above and beyond to make my parents' anniversary special, and their hospitality was exceptional. The simplicity, comfort, and sophistication of the hotel made our stay unforgettable. A perfect spot to unwind with beautiful scenery and fantastic facilities, including a private mini-pool. Just fab!

A Hidden Gem in the Countryside

We were a bit apprehensive about the access road to this hidden gem, but once we arrived, all our worries melted away. The peacefulness and tranquility of Sesmarias Turismo Rural & Spa transported us to another world. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, just like they did for the couple celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary. The personalized touches, candles, and roses in our suite made us feel truly cherished.

Although the private pool could've been cleaner and a kettle in the room would've been convenient, these small details couldn't overshadow the overall beauty of this place. The idyllic surroundings, with farm animals to visit and the possibility to explore the Olive Oil company and nearby restaurant recommended by the owner, added an extra charm to our stay.

The quiet and peaceful landscape in the middle of nowhere was truly enjoyable. The pool area was clean and spacious, perfect for a relaxing swim. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even organized a trip to a local olive oil company and recommended a fantastic restaurant in the area. Additionally, the local Pias red wine was a delightful discovery, served at the perfect temperature.

Although the location was remote and provided a sense of tranquility, it was a bit difficult to find, especially if you arrive after dark. The breakfast options were limited and lacked variety, with the same items being served every day.

Excellent service from Sérgio Fernandes - Receptionist - for dinner recommendations. Great breakfast provided. Fantastic rooms and beautiful resort. Extra payment for private mini-pool worth it. Special accommodations made for parents' anniversary. Will definitely consider returning in the future.

I always stay here for my business trips. The staff once allowed early check in. This place has all I need: Wi-Fi, parking, AC, TV, fitness center.
